TI Automotive Growing in Ashley; Seeks 60 More Workers

TI Automotive in Ashley is seeking 57 production workers, two material movers and a maintenance technician in response to business growth, new products and technology.
  
The production positions will be eight-hour first-, second- and third-shift jobs with paid lunch breaks and 25-cent shift premiums for the second and third shifts. Forklift experience is preferred for material movers, but not required. Those positions will be 8½-hour first- and second-shift jobs with an unpaid lunch break and a 25-cent shift premium for the second shift.
 
Starting pay for the production/material mover positions is $12.75 an hour, with an opportunity to earn $13.88 an hour after one year. Ideal candidates will have some manufacturing experience, but it is not required. A high school degree or the equivalent is not required.
 
Maintenance technician wages are based on education and/or experience. An associate’s degree in the mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance fields is preferred but not required. Among the skills being sought: ability to work in a fast-paced environment; problem solve; communicate effectively; have a strong work ethic; and possess a history of good attendance.
 
All positions offer medical, dental, prescription, vision and vacation benefits, plus a 401k. Interested parties can fill out an application at TI Automotive, 507 H.L. Thompson Jr. Drive, Ashley, between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
