WorkOnes Open
All 11 WorkOne Northeast career centers are open to walk-in customers. Service is also available by appointment. Hours and days of operation at the centers can be found here.  In complying with Gov. Eric Holcomb's recent directive, visitors to the centers eight years old and older must wear masks. People must continue to file for unemployment benefits online here. If you're having difficulty with your claim, here are the possible reasons. We developed a plan to address the safety of WorkOne Northeast staff and customers. That plan can be found here.

Northeast Indiana Works Seeks RFQs for Outreach Work

July 16, 2020
Northeast Indiana Works is seeking Request for Quotes (RFQ) to promote initiatives offering training and/or educational opportunities for employers’ workers and adults at large, as well as to create awareness of training and/or educational opportunities for middle and high school students.

Deadline for submissions is July 23.

The outreach work will focus on, but not be limited to, developing messaging for and placing radio spots; developing messaging/graphics for and placing social media posts, and developing messaging for electronic communications. Because of the nature of the grant funding deadline, the turnaround time to complete the work is short, as is the requested date for the submission of the RFQs.

Questions related to the RFQ will be accepted in writing when submitted to Rick Farrant at rfarrant@neinworks.org. Proposals should be submitted no later than July 23, 2020. A PDF version of your proposal should be submitted to Lori Rice at lrice@neinworks.org.

The RFQ can be found here.
Returning to college at 38 years old for career advancement was a great challenge, but WorkOne Northeast not only helped with grants for tuition and books, they also helped me hone my interview skills and aided in developing an effective resume. Today, thanks to WorkOne, I am a Registered Nurse and clinical specialist for Parkview Physicians Group.
